St. Louis Blues defenceman Roman Polak out indefinitely with broken foot

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues defenceman Roman Polak will be out indefinitely due to a fractured right foot.

Polak was hurt in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Blues recalled defenceman Steve Wagner from AHL Peoria on Sunday.

Playing his first full NHL season, the 22-year-old Polak has one goal and 10 assists in 44 games.

Wagner, 24, has one goal and one assist in 16 games with St. Louis this season. He has four goals and nine assists in 23 games with Peoria.
