St. Louis Blues sign veteran forward Dave Scatchard to contract

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues have signed 34-year-old forward Dave Scatchard, a 13-year NHL veteran.

Scatchard split time last season between Nashville and Milwaukee of the American Hockey League. He had three goals and two assists in 16 games with the Predators, and 20 goals and 10 assists for Milwaukee.

In 651 NHL games with the Canucks, Islanders, Bruins, Coyotes and Predators, Scatchard has 128 goals, 140 assists and 1,034 penalty minutes.
