St. Louis Blues tic-tac-toe makes Pekka Rinne go no, no, no

The St. Louis Blue David Backes and T.J. Oshie played a little tic-tac-toe on Tuesday, which left Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne in shambles. Rinne got the last laugh though as the Predators secured the win over the Blues 3-2.

The St. Louis Blues locked horns with the Nashville Predators Tuesday, as both teams jockeyed for position near the top of the ultra-competitive Central Division.

With Pekka Rinne having the outstanding season he is with a goals-against average of 1.88 combined with a .934 save percentage, teams are lucky to get anything by the 6-foot-5 Finnish netminder, let alone make him look silly, but the Blues managed to accomplish this feat thanks to the beautiful tic-tac-toe passing play below:

Unfortunately, the smooth moves of David Backes and T.J Oshie weren't enough as the Blues fell to the Predators 3-2, falling four points behind 'Smashvile' for second place in the Central Division.
