Staal, Ward, Williams and Commodore join Team Canada for world championship
Four Carolina Hurricanes were among a group of seven players officially added to the team's roster today.
Conn Smythe-winning goalie Cam Ward, forwards Eric Staal and Justin Williams and defenceman Mike Commodore will all play for Canada at the tournament in Moscow.
Defenceman Barret Jackman and forward Jamal Mayers of the St. Louis Blues were also named to the team along with Columbus Blue Jackets winger Jason Chimera.
Canada, which opens the tournament on April 28th against Germany, now has 12 players on its roster.
