Stamkos has 2 goals as Tampa Bay beats Florida in pre-season finale for both teams
TAMPA, Fla. - Steven Stamkos scored twice, Vincent Lecavalier had a goal and an assist and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Florida Panthers 4-1 on Saturday night in the pre-season finale for both teams.
Stamkos put the Lightning up 2-1 at 7:22 of the second and added a power-play goal one minute 58 seconds later.
Lecavalier stopped the Panthers' stretch of 33 consecutive successful pre-season penalty kills when he scored with the man advantage 4:32 into the second.
Sean Bergenheim also scored and Martin St. Louis finished with two assists for the Lightning.
Mike Santorelli had a first-period goal for Florida.
