Stars activate defenceman Boucher after missing 38 games with bad shoulder

DALLAS - Defenceman Philippe Boucher was activated Monday by the Dallas Stars after missing 38 games following shoulder surgery.

Boucher hasn't played since Dec. 3. He has 11 points and 24 penalty minutes in 28 games. The 34-year-old Boucher had career highs in goals (19), assists (32) and points (51) last season.

The Stars play at St. Louis on Tuesday night.
