DALLAS - The Stars have traded forward Krystofer Barch to Florida for minor-league winger Jake Hauswirth in a deal that also includes a swap of draft picks.

Dallas will get the Panthers' fifth-round pick in the 2012 draft, while Florida takes the Stars' sixth-round choice in the deal announced Wednesday.

The 31-year-old Barch has 23 penalty minutes in 10 games with Dallas this season. He has played all 263 career NHL games with the Stars.

Hauswirth has 12 points in 16 games this season with Rio Grande Valley of the Central Hockey League.

In February, the 23-year-old was traded to Florida by Washington.
