Stay on your feet

Many fans often complain about the volume and frequency of music played at hockey games these days, but one thing is certain: the arenas need to stop playing The Electric Slide because defensemen are taking it to heart and sliding down to their knees and bellies at every offensive rush by the opponent.

More often than not, it results in a goal as the puck carrier can simply wait for the defender to slide out of play. Key goals have been scored during these playoffs thanks to this ridiculous tactic.

Strangely, NHLers sometime seem intent on killing each other, except when their opponent has the puck.

This practice of flip, flop, or flying out of the way has got to stop!
