Step aside Sedins

Re-signing Henrik and Daniel Sedin, for all the skill and increased grit they've shown, should not be high on Mike Gillis' list of priorities.

The twins had great seasons, they proved to be durable players and quite likely will continue to improve as they enter their primes, but this is Cody Hodgson's team now. Locking up the twins to long-term deals impedes the path to top-line centre Hodgson should be on.

With all the money they have to use this off-season and the bevy of available talent, Gillis is much better served to acquire one or two top caliber wingers to compliment this future star, instead of cementing him into a second unit roll.
