Stephan makes 21 saves for shutout as Stars blank Moose 4-0

DE MOINES, Iowa - Tobias Stephan stopped all 21 shots he faced and Chris Lee scored two goals as the Iowa Stars shutout the Manitoba Moose 4-0 Friday in AHL action.

It was Stephan's second shutout of the year, as the Stars moved to a 11-10-1-0 record. Janos Vas opened the scoring for Iowa at 8:30 of the first period.

Vas also assisted on Lee's first goal of the night, which came on the power play at 10:41 of the first frame.

Lee scored his second midway through the second and Toby Petersen capped it off with a late goal also in the second.

Manitoba' s (12-7-2-0) Drew MacIntyre let in four goals on 28 saves before being replaced by Cory Schneider.
