Steven Stamkos, Michael Leighton and Marty Turco NHL Three Stars of week

NEW YORK - Tampa Bay's Steven Stamkos, Philadelphia's Michael Leighton and Dallas' Marty Turco are the NHL Three Stars of the week.

Stamkos led all scorers last week with nine points, including three goals, in four games. The 20-year-old centre is tied for fourth overall in the goal-scoring race, with 35, and is seventh overall in points with 70.

Flyers goalie Leighton was 4-0-0 with a 1.98 goals-against average and .925 save percentage last week.

Stars goalie Turco went 2-0-1 with a 1.30 goals-against average and .965 save percentage. He also recorded a shutout, the 40th of his career, with 40 saves against Phoenix.
