Streaking Grabovski scores, adds two assists as Bulldogs beat Flames 4-1
MOLINE, Ill. - Mikhail Grabovski continued his hot streak with a goal and three assists as the Hamilton Bulldogs posted a 4-1 win over the Quad City Flames Wednesday in American Hockey League action.
The Bulldogs won their fifth game in a row, with Grabovski posting 16 points (six goals, 10 assists) over that span.
Marvin Degon had a goal and an assist, Corey Locke recorded three assists and Duncan Milroy, Matt D'Agostini and Kyle Chipchura also scored for the defending Calder Cup champion Bulldogs (28-21-1-5), who remained tied with Manitoba for second place in the North Division.
Jaroslav Halak finished with 25 saves.
Tim Ramholt scored the only goal for the Flames (26-22-2-7), who lost in regulation for just the second time in their last eight games.
Flames goalie Curtis McElhinney made 21 saves.
