Sunday's NHL previews

Sunday's NHL games involving Canadian teams:

Devils at Canadiens, 3 p.m. ET

Devils—The resurgent Devils (18-30-4) have finally moved out of 30th place by going 8-1-2 over their last 12 games. However, Jacques Lemaire's team is still a long way from being part of the Eastern Conference playoff picture. Backup goaltender Johan Hedberg played in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to Florida so Martin Brodeur will likely get the start in his hometown against the Habs.

Canadiens—It's the second of back-to-back matinee home games—a yearly tradition in Montreal on Super Bowl weekend. The Canadiens have a record of 20-14-4 since the Super Bowl doubleheader tradition started two decades ago. Forward Mike Cammalleri remains out with a shoulder injury.
