TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed goaltender Anders Lindback to a two-year contract, the club announced Friday.

The 24-year-old compiled a 5-8-0 record to go along with a 2.42 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage this past season while backing up Nashville Predators starter Pekka Rinne.

The Bolts acquired Lindback, forward Kyle Wilson and a 2012 seventh-round pick in June from the Predators for goalie Sebastien Caron, two 2012 second-round picks and a 2013 third-round pick.

The six-foot-six, 203-pound Lindback is expected to be Tampa Bay's starter for the 2012-13 season.

In 38 career NHL games, the native of Gavle, Sweden, has a 16-13-2 record, with a 2.53 GAA and a .914 save percentage.
