Taylor Hall a class act

Jay Edler, Saskatoon, Sask.

I would like to take a minute to say what a class act Taylor Hall is.

I had the privilege of being able to go to all the games at the world juniors, but Hall is the one who really made the WJC special for me.

After Canada's second game, he was signing some autographs and I had my Hall sign and was waiting patiently for my turn, but security started ushering him away. He asked them if he could sign one more thing and they said, "just one!"

So he reached through a maze of hands and arms and got my sign and signed it.

Then, in the game against Slovakia, when I was sitting right beside Canada's bench, he saw my sign and winked at me.

Two shifts later he scored his hat trick goal and when he got to the bench he pointed at me and winked again.

After the game he gave me the puck he scored the hat trick with.

I wish him the best in Edmonton and would like to thank him for the moments I will never forget!
