Teemu Selanne gets hat trick in Ducks' 4-1 win over Coyotes

ANAHEIM, Calif. - Teemu Selanne scored three goals to lead the Anaheim Ducks to a 4-1 pre-season victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on Friday night.

Selanne, the Ducks' all-time leading scorer, capped the hat trick with the game's final goal with 17:14 left in the third period. Brendan Morrison and Scott Niedermayer both had three assists for the Ducks (5-1-1), who have won three straight pre-season games.

Selanne opened the scoring with 9:44 left in the first period, but Peter Mueller of the Coyotes (1-5-1) tied it less than two minutes later.

Selanne's second goal came on a power play with assists from Niedermayer and Morrison. Corey Perry made it 3-1 with a power-play goal with 6:36 left in the second period.
