QUEBEC - Washington Capitals defenceman Mike Green was added to Canada's roster for the IIHF World Hockey Championship on Friday.
The 22-year-old Calgary native had 18 goals and 38 assists playing in all 82 games for Washington this season. He has 71 points (21-50) in 174 career games with the Capitals.
Green's addition brings Canada's roster for the tournament up to 26 players.
