TORONTO - The American Hockey League will be shown on CBC this fall.

The network announced Thursday that it will broadcast 10 AHL games on Sunday afternoons starting with Binghamton-Toronto on Oct. 17.

CBC also says it will air telecasts of games involving the top affiliates of the other four Canadian NHL teams: Hamilton (Montreal Canadiens), Abbotsford (Calgary Flames), Manitoba (Vancouver Canucks), and Oklahoma City (Edmonton Oilers).

The AHL will mark its 75th anniversary this season.
