Rob Seib, Titusville, Pa

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mario Lemieux and the Pittsburgh Penguins for providing us all with fine examples of persistence, tenacity and loyalty.

Through hard work and dedication, they have taken a franchise that was on the verge of bankruptcy and quickly turned it into one of promise and excitement.

The fact that present-day Penguins teams may one-day compare favorably to past Oilers and Islanders dynasties has been made possible by a supreme ownership group that has surrounded itself with talented individuals both on and off the ice.

Thank you to everyone associated with the Penguins organization for allowing us all the privilege of witnessing the creation of something very special.
