John Tavares and Victor Hedman will be the focal point for many observers as the two battle over who will be the top pick at the NHL Entry Draft in June this summer. James van Riemsdyk of the U.S., who was taken No. 2 overall behind Patrick Kane in 2007, will also be expected to be a key player as a strong American squad aims to return to the medals and win their second gold medal in WJC history.
