THN sailing a world away

I am currently stationed aboard an Aircraft Carrier, which recently returned from the Persian Gulf. We usually work 14-hour days and after that, all I want to do is hit my rack.

The only thing that prevents me from doing that is when I find a fresh new Hockey News waiting for me.

By the time it reaches me all the way out there it may be a few weeks behind, but I still tear through it cover to cover.

When you write this magazine I'm sure you don't think about some 22-year-old sailor reading it in the middle of the ocean. But it definitely puts a smile on my face in some hard times.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the passion you put into each edition.
