Tickets should be for everyone

Just recently I was watching a game and the announcer stated that the Capitals playoff tickets could only be purchased by Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. residents.

Now last I checked this would be called discrimination to those who wanted to purchase tickets, but lived in a different state.

This is a childish act and should be changed. Not only am I a hardcore fan, but I live in a state where there is no NHL team.

What if I was unable to purchase tickets to a game a few states away? This completely destroys the chance for me or any other fan to see their favorite team and players.
