Tom Pyatt scores hat trick as Hamilton Bulldogs defeat Americans 5-2

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Tom Pyatt scored a hat trick to lead the Hamilton Bulldogs past the Rochester Americans 5-2 in American Hockey League action Friday.

Hamilton (33-12-7) entered the third period up 4-0 after Pyatt scored twice and J.T. Wyman and Mike Glumac added singles.

The Americans (29-19-2) replied with goals from Graham Mink and Evgeny Dadonov, but Pyatt added an empty-net goal to end the comeback.

Bulldogs goaltender Cedrick Desjardins stopped 22 shots for the win, while at the other end Tyler Plante made 23 saves.
