Top trio?

So much for the No. 1 line in hockey.

The Senators trio of Alfredsson, Heatley and Spezza, as of November 8th, had amassed 49 points and are 6th, 20th and 51st in league scoring.

In comparison, the Flames trio Tanguay, Langkow and Iginla have amassed 57 points and are 3rd, 13th and 16th in league scoring.

Although the Senators are easily the better team, there is no line more vital to a team’s success then the top scorers of the Flames.
