Toronto Maple Leafs recall forward Joey Crabb from AHL affiliate squad
TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs recalled forward Joey Crabb from the AHL's Toronto Marlies on Tuesday.
Crabb, 27, has played in 34 games for the Marlies this season, scoring a team-high 11 goals. Crabb was previously recalled by the Leafs on Nov. 30 and played two games, collecting an assist.
Toronto signed the six-foot-one, 190-pound forward as a free agent July 1. Crabb was originally the New York Rangers’seventh choice, selected 226th overall, in the 2002 NHL entry draft.
