Toronto Marlies centre Alex Foster named American Hockey League player of week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Toronto Marlies centre Alex Foster was named American Hockey League player of the week Monday.

Foster recorded six points (five goals, one assist) in three games last week.

Foster, who missed more than a month of action due to injury, has eight points (6-2) in eight games for the Marlies this season.
