Trotter, Russell, Belle score in shootout as Bulldogs edge Wolves 5-4

HAMILTON, Ont. - Brock Trotter, Ryan Russell and Shawn Belle scored consecutive shootout goals for the Hamilton Bulldogs in a 5-4 win over the Chicago Wolves Friday night in American Hockey League action.

Kevin Doell scored in regulation and had the lone shootout goal for the Wolves, who came back from a two-goal deficit in the second period and forced overtime after falling behind by one with less than two minutes remaining in the third thanks to a timely goal by Joey Crabb.

Russell added a goal in regulation and Mike Glumac scored twice for the Bulldogs (41-14-8), who have won seven straight. J.T. Wyman had a goal and an assist.

Paul Postma opened the scoring for Chicago (39-18-6), which has points in its last four games. Jason Krog also scored.

Hamilton netminder Curtis Sanford and Wolves goaltender Drew MacIntyre both made 29 saves.
