Twenty-team playoff problematic

I was reading Brian Costello's article on expanding the playoffs to 20 in the April 16 edition of The Hockey News and although his plan sound good it makes me cringe.

As a season ticket holder, I already struggle with not knowing what my schedule will be for hockey games until two to three days before the game, so how could you have fans not know when their games would be scheduled until just the day before.

Also it does not allow for the usual conflicts that happen with arena and TV schedules.

Maybe we have the first round or two be a five-game series as they were years ago. It would also be great if we could ignore the arena and TV schedules and they went back to being as predictable as your plan lays out.
