Undying love for the game

Trevor Jones, London, Ont.

I just wanted to say how much I love hockey in spite of everything that's happened recently, from the Todd Bertuzzi and Marty McSorley incidents on the ice to the lockout and the current mess that is the Phoenix Coyotes situation.

No matter what happens, I will love hockey and I will always be a fan of the Maple Leafs. I hope fans of other teams feel the same way I do about the game and about my team, in spite of its deficiencies.

I am a fan of the game, so no matter what stupidity Gary Bettman and the owners commit off the ice and no matter what idiocy the players commit on it, I will still love hockey.

I hope everyone still remembers why they love the sport so much in the first place, because it was, is, and always will be a great game.
