Vancouver Canucks add another goaltender to mix by signing Matt Climie

VANCOUVER - The Vancouver Canucks have added another goaltender to the mix.

The Canucks signed Matt Climie on Thursday, the NHL team announced.

Climie, 28, spent last season with the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League, where he had a 26-22-3 record and .913 save percentage. He also appeared in one game for the Phoenix Coyotes, making 16 saves and registering a 1.88 goals-against.

The native of Leduc, Alta., has played in five career NHL games with the Dallas Stars and Phoenix, posting a 2-2-0 record, 3.24 GAA and .892 save percentage.

The Canucks already have goaltenders Roberto Luongo, Cory Schneider and Eddie Lack under contract.
