VANCOUVER, B.C. - The Vancouver Canucks have re-signed defenceman Nathan McIver.

McIver, 24, spent the 2008-09 season with the Anaheim Ducks and Canucks.

In 18 NHL games last season, all with Anaheim, McIver recorded one assist and 36 penalty minutes.

In 28 games with the Canucks' AHL affiliate in Manitoba, McIver had two assists and 59 penalty minutes.
