Vancouver Canucks recall centres Wellwood and Krog from AHL Manitoba

VANCOUVER, B.C. - The Vancouver Canucks recalled centres Kyle Wellwood and Jason Krog from the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League on Tuesday.

Wellwood, 25, was held without a point in the one game he played with the Canucks this season. He had five points (1-4) in six pre-season games.

Krog, 33, recorded five points (1-4) in four games with the Moose this season.

Krog led the AHL in scoring last season with 112 points (39-73) in 80 games with the Chicago Wolves. He added another 36 points (10-26) in 24 playoff games to help the Wolves win the Calder Cup.
