Thomas Vanek marked 10 straight seasons of scoring at least 20 goals since making his NHL debut in 2005, when he smacked a flying puck past Calgary Flames' netminder Karri Ramo to give the Wild a 2-1 lead in the third period on Friday night.

It’s an admirable feat for the 31-year-old, who has laced up for four different teams since the start of last season – Buffalo, New York Islanders, Montreal and Minnesota. Vanek was drafted fifth overall by Buffalo in 2003, has amassed 296 goals and 605 points in 736 games and is poised to make a playoff run with the red-hot Wild. Zach Parise also hit a milestone on Friday night, reaching the 30-goal plateau for the sixth time in his career with a beauty breakaway goal.

Minnesota stormed back after being down 1-0 early in the first period to complete a gutsy 4-2 win against a Flames team currently chasing them for a wildcard position in the Western Conference. The Wild now sit six points ahead of the Flames and three points ahead of Winnipeg with just seven games remaining.
