St. Louis Blues power forward Chris Stewart’s contract negotiations haven’t went as smooth as he might have hoped this summer. The 25-year-old RFA filed for arbitration earlier this month, but is hoping to have a new deal worked out before the hearing on July 22.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Stewart took time out of his summer to help out friend Wayne Simmonds with his second annual Wayne's Road Hockey Warriors tournament, which raises money for underprivileged youth to play hockey.

At the event, THN’s Ryan Kennedy had a chance to talk with Stewart about the charity, the changes in St. Louis, his role with the Blues and more.
