    The NCAA and the Canadian League have both established themselves as viable stepping stones to the NHL. As a result, the battle for elite young hockey players has never been more intense. But due to NCAA regulations, the CHL had a distinct advantage recruiting young Canadians until about three years ago when College Hockey Inc. entered the fray.

    Formed with resources from USA Hockey through a grant from the NHL, the organization is working to level the playing field by bringing collegiate coaches and athletes together. THN’s Ryan Kennedy takes a closer look at the role College Hockey Inc. plays in the ongoing battle between the NCAA and the CHL for the next wave of top hockey talent.
