While goaltending hasn’t been the key to any of Canada’s wins at the 2010 WJC, heading into the gold medal game Team Canada is banking on a strong game by Jake Allen.

With the Montreal Juniors of the Quebec League, Allen has put up some impressive numbers this season. In a league known for its goal scoring Allen has kept his goals-against average to a measly 2.66 and his save percentage above .910.

But right now his focus is on helping the Canadians bring home their sixth straight gold medal. The Hockey News’ Ryan Kennedy caught up with Allen and his teammates as they prepared for the championship.
