John Gibson and Team USA left the 2012 World Junior Championship with a sour taste in their mouths. They only managed one win in their four round robin games and found themselves playing in the relegation round for the first time since 1999.

Gibson is one of only three returning players from last year's team to be invited to the American selection camp and if healthy, he is the frontrunner for the staring job.

THN’s Ryan Kennedy caught up with Gibson to discuss last year’s disappointment, his time with the US National Team Development Program and much more.
