With all he has accomplished it is hard to believe Jonathan Toews has only been in the league for four seasons. His resume already reads like a plaque in the Hockey Hall of Fame. He is an Olympic gold medalist and was named top-forward in the tournament. He is also a Stanley Cup champion and the youngest captain to win the Conn Smythe trophy.

But Toews isn’t content to sit on his laurels, his internal drive won’t allow it. The Blackhawks center is focused on improving and once again leading his team back to Cup.

THN’s Adam Proteau caught up with the 23-year-old Winnipeg native to discuss evolving as a player, internal pressure and much more.
