With hockey in his blood, Oshawa Generals center Cole Cassels was meant to play the game. Cassels grew up around hockey thanks to his father, Andrew, who had a 16-year NHL career. Cole was the Generals’ first round selection in May 2011 and has proven to be an effective playmaker, who is also responsible in his own end of the ice.

THN’s Ryan Kennedy sat down with Cassels to talk about the All-American prospects game, what he brings to the Generals team and lessons he learned from his dad.
