VIDEO: One-on-one with Swedish center, NHL prospect Victor Rask

There’s a good chance a half dozen Swedes will be taken in the first round of this year’s draft. A comforting thought to Victor Rask, as he knows he has some fellow countrymen sharing in the whirlwind experiences leading up to the big day.

A strong under-18 championship that included five points in six games has moved the slick center up draft boards. And scouts feel his strong puck-handling ability and skill in the faceoff circle will translate well at the next level.

THN’s Ryan Kennedy caught up with Rask as he prepares for the NHL Entry Draft in Minnesota.
