There’s a good chance a half dozen Swedes will be taken in the first round of this year’s draft. A comforting thought to Victor Rask, as he knows he has some fellow countrymen sharing in the whirlwind experiences leading up to the big day.
A strong under-18 championship that included five points in six games has moved the slick center up draft boards. And scouts feel his strong puck-handling ability and skill in the faceoff circle will translate well at the next level.
