Although Oscar Klefbom will tell you he was disappointed with Sweden’s silver medal finish at the World Men’s Under-18 Championship, there is no doubt the experience he gained over the course of the international event was invaluable.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound defenseman knows the importance of leadership and it showed as he was named Sweden’s captain for the tournament. His challenge now will be to adapt from Farjestad of the Swedish Elite League, to the North American game and ice surface.
