In his second full season with Jokerit of the Finish League, Teuvo Teravainen set career highs in all three offensive categories in 2012-13. The 18-year-old had 13 goals and 31 points in 44 games.

Teravainen also played a big role for Team Finland at the World Junior Championship in Ufa, Russia. Showcasing his offensive prowess, Teravainen had five goals and 11 points in just six games. But the team struggled and was forced to play in the relegation round in Ufa. This year Teravainen and the Finns have their eyes firmly set on the medal round. And the journey started in Lake Placid, N.Y., which is where we caught up with the shifty pivot.

THN’s Ryan Kennedy talked to Teravainen about the camp, this year's WJC in Malmo, Sweden and more.
