Since retiring from professional hockey Daniel Tkaczuk has dedicated himself to helping young players develop the skills necessary to succeed on the ice. The Hockey News recognized the value of this service and teamed up with Tkaczuk to create a series of skill development videos.

On the sixth installment of Pro Tips, Tkaczuk demonstrates a drill that will develop a player's ability to make tight turns and power out of corners.

Daniel Tkaczuk was Calgary's first round pick in 1997 (sixth overall) and has been playing professionally in North America and Europe for the past 12 seasons. He is currently president of iHockeyTrainer.com, an online hockey school for skill development.
