BOSTON - The Philadelphia Flyers didn’t get the result they wanted at the 2010 Winter Classic in Boston, losing 2-1 in overtime to the Bruins.

But one young Flyer had a day he will never forget.

Defenseman Danny Syvret grew up a huge baseball fan, which made scoring his first NHL goal on the frozen field of Fenway Park that much more special.

Even more amazing was that his close friend and NHL photographer Dave Sanford predicted Syvret would find the back of the net the day before.

Adam Proteau caught up with Syvret and a few of the Flyers after the historic game.
