The Detroit Red Wings were one win away from repeating as Cup champions last season, but after a summer of change the Wings had to look to their youth to fill some of the holes.

The Wings stumbled out of the gate and suffered a series of injuries that depleted their lineup further, leaving more roster spots for rookie call-ups. And as the young Wings settle in, the team has bounced back from their early-season struggles.
