Edmonton goalie Viktor Fasth has played three games since being acquired by the Oilers at the deadline for a third and fifth round draft pick, recording two wins and a .940 save percentage. But while his numbers have been good, he hasn’t won in style yet. By that, we mean he’s been playing with the “I’ve just been traded” white helmet. Until now.
Here’s a look at Fasth’s new paint, which is an awesome artistic display of dripping oil and (presumably) working gears. The mask was designed by the renowned
David Gunnarsson, who is a favorite of goalies everywhere. Fasth also had a
fantastic mask as a member of the Anaheim Ducks. So, which one is better? It’s almost impossible to choose.
