Wade scores once, assists on two others as Salmon King double Ice Dogs 6-3

Chris Collins and Jeff Mason scored a minute apart midway through the opening period to put the Ice Dogs up 2-0. Jordan Krestanovich banged in a rebound and Kiel McLeod tipped in for a power-play goal as Victoria (18-26-0-1) tied the match before the intermission.

Marc-Andre Bernier, with his fifth goal in three games, and Wade made it 4-2 for the Salmon Kings before four minutes had elapsed in the second period.

Ryan Bennett brought the Ice Dogs to within a goal, but defenceman Phil Cole and Milan Gajic - with his 100th point in his 100th professional game - finished the scoring in the third period for the Kings.

Victoria goalie Bryan Bridges made 25 saves, while Mike Brown and Brett Jaeger combined to stop 36 shots for Long Beach (13-24-0-3), which is 2-5 against the Salmon Kings this season.
