Because we want to give a nod to every player who makes his first NHL appearance, we need to make up for missing these three players in our weekend roundup.

Eddie Lack, Vancouver

A native of Norrtalje, Sweden, Lack got his first taste of NHL action Sunday night in Calgary. Never drafted, the 6-foot-5, 196-pound goalie spent the past three seasons in the AHL with the Manitoba Moose and Chicago Wolves and got a promotion to the big leagues this season after Cory Schneider was dealt to New Jersey. He faced 36 shots in his first game, stopping 32 of them and held on to a 5-4 overtime win.

Matt Dumba, Minnesota

An all-out player, Dumba made his debut in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to Anaheim. The seventh overall pick in 2012 and Calgary native, Dumba has spent the past three seasons with the Red Deer Rebels of the WHL. He logged 10:22 of ice in his NHL debut, recording one shot and one assist. He's still eligible for junior and could be sent back down before he plays in his 10th game, which would burn a year off his entry-level contract.

Hampus Lindholm, Anaheim

On Sunday, the Helsingborg, Sweden native was introduced to his first NHL action. Selected sixth overall in 2012, Lindholm played 44 games with the AHL's Norfolk Admirals last season, scoring 11 points. A 6-foot-3, 195-pound defenseman, Lindholm earned 18:41 of ice and was a plus-1 with two blocked shots in Anaheim's 3-2 Sunday win over Winnipeg.

Apologies for missing y'all yesterday.
