Wild send defenceman Lundin on conditioning assignment; Scandella put on IR

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Wild have sent defenceman Mike Lundin on a conditioning assignment to their AHL affiliate in Houston.

The move was made on Friday.

Lundin hasn't played yet this season because of a back problem. He was placed on injured reserve on Sept. 30. The 27-year-old, who played at Apple Valley High School in the Twin Cities, signed with the Wild this season after leaving the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Wild also reassigned right wing Casey Wellman to Houston and placed defenceman Marco Scandella on injured reserve.

Scandella, defenceman Marek Zidlicky and left wing Guillaume Latendresse are all out with concussions.
