Wozniewski and Clemmensen lift Marlies over Griffins in 2-1 victory

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Andy Wozniewski scored the go-ahead goal on the power play in the second period and Scott Clemmensen stopped 31 shots to lift the the Toronto Marlies over the Grand Rapids Griffins 2-1 on Wednesday in the AHL.

Colin Murphy opened the scoring for Toronto (42-18-3-5) at 8:09 of the second for his ninth of the year.

Evan McGrath had the lone goal for Grand Rapids (27-35-2-5).

Jimmy Howard turned aside 30 of 32 shots for the Griffins.
